 Founded in 1950 in Aylmer, Ontario and now in the hard-working and talented hands of Steve and Tracy Nakonecznyj, Spicer’s Bakery has a well-earned reputation for the outstanding quality of their sweet treats, breads and pastries. 

 The comment we hear most often after a customer has tried one of their products for the first time is “it tastes just like my grandmother used to make”.  They offer all of the nostalgia that comes with time honoured recipes, with  thoughtful, contemporary upgrades.  With such a vast assortment of cookies, squares, breads, tarts and pies to choose from, we bet they have your favourite (or your new favourite)!

 A little tip from me to you: the best tomato sandwich of your life can be had when one of our summertime heirloom tomatoes, straight from our field, meets Spicer’s Sourdough bread, with just a little sprinkle of salt and pepper.

 From Apple Crumb Pie to Gingersnaps, Lemony Lemon Loaf to their coveted round Cheese Bread, every delicious offering certainly has a following!  When the farm store is open for the season, customers have been known to wait in the parking lot for the bakery truck to arrive on delivery days for the chance to get their hands on a still-warm loaf of bread or a freshly baked pie!
